shut up and listen—

indigo waves lapping on the shore,

leaves fluttering as they spiral to the floor,

eagles nesting in the mountains,

no pesky humans to disturb them,

cease the driving, flying, talking, crying;

even when the world grows silent, nature sings.

    Oh, so lovely. We did shut up when Corona attacked, did you know that the world started healing while we were locked in. If we stopped...the world would heal. Congrats on L/board win.

    Love the premise....shut up and listen to the heartbeat that thrives beside yours. Such a beautifully visual poem. Congratulations on the Top Story, too - it was well-earned.
