A Skyku on the self

Parents teach us the principle of others before self - and that stands. No one likes selfishness.
That said, sometimes we need to prioritize ourselves for the sake of others, much like how a parent should fit his life jacket before helping his family members with theirs.
It’s sometimes selfless to be selfish. Enjoy this Haiku.

And the universe continues … it always continues (so far) no matter the horrors we inflict.
A lot of wisdom here 😁
"It’s sometimes selfless to be selfish." That is soooo true! Loved your poem!
Lovely, Michelle.
Really love your haiku and the symbolism therein. Wonderfully done, Michelle.
