Spending the day

Watching the rain fall

Tired of being sad

Tired of wanting to do nothing

Nothing at all

I’m not hopeless

I’m really just tired

I’ve learned

It’s the way my brain is wired

I won’t spend the rest of my days

Watching the rain fall

I’m getting up

Moving my body

Giving it my all

I’ll get out of bed

I’ll pick up my friends calls

I won’t be spending the rest of my days

Watching the rain fall
