Stumbling Bocks to Stepping Stones
No Excuses

There’s something I’ve noticed that strikes me as odd
My misery feeds on the pickle I’m in
I’ve just enough sin that I can’t enjoy God
And just enough God that I can’t enjoy sin
The stumbling blocks on the path that I’ve trod
They constantly beckon, “Come back where you’ve been”
The draw is magnetic and pulls where I’m flawed
‘Til I rearrange them, I doubt that I’ll win

Your use of imagery and metaphor really brings the message to life, turning each "stumble" into a necessary step in the journey of life. It's both inspiring and comforting to read, reminding us all that the path isn’t always straight, but every detour has its purpose. Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt and motivating piece! It’s a great reminder that the way we view our challenges can make all the difference in how we move forward. Looking forward to more of your beautiful poetry! 🌱✨
Relatable poem. Stuck In the middle. Excellent poem.
Love this and I also love the photo chosen to represent the work of art. Great job.
