Tearing Up the Script

Why the Path of the Unknown is Your Greatest Gift

Who says life has to follow a predictable path: study, work, get married, have children, and grow old, like a scripted drama?

We come into this world not to be extras. We have the right to make mistakes, the courage to take detours, and the impulsive desire to suddenly decide to live a different life.

The paths others have walked may not be suitable for you. Those voices telling you how you should live are often simply afraid that you will live better than them.

The coolest thing in life is to tear down all the "shoulds," embrace the unknown as a gift, and reclaim your choices. Do not try to please, follow, or copy anyone else's template for success.

Even if you fall, fall on the path of your own dreams. Never play your part flawlessly according to a script; write your own story and live a vibrant, fulfilling life.

Don't be afraid of failure; be afraid of standing still. Time cannot be turned back. Don't envy how exciting others' lives are; instead, take the first step and make your own life more brilliant.

The biggest obstacle in life isn't others—it is your own fear of taking the first step. Find your courage; you can achieve your goals as long as you are willing to step out.

Thinking a thousand times is never as good as doing it once. A magnificent fall is better than aimless wandering. Go and put your heart’s answer into practice. Start... and set off.
