You terrify me like the winds that howl beneath the night sky
You terrify me more than what haunts the Appalachia Mountains
How am I? Who am I? To comprehend and hold the light from the sky
Who am I? How am I to fill my moon with your touch?
You terrify me with your light as you take my bangs from my eyes
You terrify me with how dark I’m willing to go if anyone challenges you
What am I? Who am I? To have been so lucky to find you
Like a prophetic dream that I only thought was a tease
You terrify me how you calm my heart when it’s speeding chaotically
You terrify me how we share the same breath effortlessly
You terrify me when you tell me it’s okay to rest you’ll take watch
It terrifies me to put my shield and sword down before or with anyone
It should be me to carry the weight it is what I was breed for because I’m strong
What do you mean by rest? What is a support system?
You terrify me because you’re still so new and my heart only knows what it can’t see
You terrify me in what you see in me
If it were the other way around I could count the endless ways I feel for you
I could pull down the moon just for you to see
I would burn it all down if a hair of yours was split
