The 1 st Ford Explorer came out to replace the Bronco

Save by the Bell, rated young teen friendly show

Ex-file, are there Aliens among us causing trouble in the human world?

Living Single, Queen Latifah made it cool to have fun and be single

Seinfeld, laughter at the things we do and think about

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Black Americans can be rich and styling

Will & Grace, two gay guys having straigh women as best friends

Family Matters, how a nerd bring compassion and being different is ok

Friends, showing friendship in America in the white community in NYC

The Nanny, (My Favorite Show) I find it funny how honest they are with their thoughts and the humor in their antagonist co-existence of the Characters and still have a family dynamic of poor and rich. Money has nothing to do with love.

Freaks and Geeks, I have not watched the show but one of my brothers may have.

Hangin'With Mr. Cooper, this was refreshing for me because I never had a black teacher in grade school. If I did, it would be like watching this show.

This was a poem about the Top 10 shows of the '90s. There were only a few that I did not watch consistently. They could have been controversial, but in the '90s, everyone pushed their agenda without apology. We had only one TV in my household, but somehow every family member was able to watch their favorite show.

This is how I saw these shows in my youth. This is just my opinion.

This is my entry to the Unnecessary Line Challenge. Thanks to Tiffany Gordon.

Omg! So many great tv shows I'd forgotten all about!

Always fun to read my adolescence in a poem. Thanks for the memories!

I watched all those shows, and Freaks and Geeks was set in 1980 when I was a sophomore in high school as the major character Lindsay was. The show kind of resembled that time in history for high school. Thanks for the memories and good job.

What a nostalgia trip! This is like flipping channels on a chunky living-room TV while everyone negotiates whose turn it is lol. That kind of nostalgia hits different! πŸ’–

Oh, that brought back some memories. I watched Friends as they aired, and the Fresh Prince with Seinfeld when I could. Also had one TV in the living room shared with four grad school roommates. Thanks for the trip down the memory lane, Mariann.
