the bee sized girl
bzzzzz (she lives inside of me)

her world was the size of a teapot
a burrow of warmth
darkened and hidden
a place of safety and secrets
she lay cocooned in midnights softness
nocturnal as she was
the stars sung her name
the sky crusty with paint
the moon had a yellow face
with cherry coloured lips
mushrooms and leaves sheltered her
like a solar eclipse, only green as tea
frost couldn’t reach her there
the darkness curled round her den
it’s whiskers danced prettily
violets sung her name
the little girl, the size of a bee
i am nothing but a droplet in a sea
i am everything around me
you, the universe, me
hidden away
is where you'll find reality
not on the outside
inside my mind
is where i'll be tonight
a burrow of warmth
darkened and hidden
where the stars sing my name
where frost can't reach
i am an idea
i am made up
just a girl, the size of a bee

Essie, This is a real cool poetry. Your story telling feels authenticate and makes me look inside while reading. You are a diamond in the rough. I hope this gets Top story.
This is star poetry right here! I love how you made it so believable that you relate to the bee species! It was so fun reading you explore yourself in this kind of way! 💗
