The Door
New Beginnings

A quiet child so they say
His finger tips are salty and cold
The overwhelming vibrations through out his body is more than bold.
For today he will make a decision
He takes a deep breath and steps in front of the door
Oh this door has been a mocking him for dear long now
Taunting him
But not today.
Today his chin is upright
His eyes are weary and blurred
Anxious in his belly
Confidence in his heart
He does not know the agony that awaits him
The ridicule and despair has longed him enough
No matter how tough the journey becomes
Triumph is always determined by God
And he knows him very well.
