The Hero of Time
A Sestina About Our Favorite Hylian Boy

I feel the presence of the magic,
how it lingers deep in the forest,
on top of the mountain,
inside every hidden temple,
even in the castle of the princess.
It is always with me, present in my fairy.
All of the Kokiri possess a fairy,
mine helps me find the princess.
We come from deep inside the forest,
the site of our temple,
where we keep our magic.
Now to climb the deadly mountain.
Even a hero is scared of the mountain
I could never do this without my fairy.
There is little that helps but magic,
but I will learn it to find the princess.
There will be many a temple
and I will miss the forest.
Ganondorf destroyed our beloved forest,
while I was ravaging his mountain.
I need to find every temple,
with guiding help from my fairy.
I will find you, my princess,
I will end this dark magic.
The Great Fairy taught me more magic.
I will rebuild our now haunted forest,
make Hyrule safe for our princess.
I will take down this mountain,
and with great help from my fairy,
I shall destroy every single temple.
I found each and every temple,
I crushed them with my magic,
impressing my at first doubting fairy.
Finally, I could ride Epona back to the forest,
after my power eliminated the mountain.
I freed my beautiful princess.
With help from my fairy I found and beat every temple,
I rescued the princess with my powerful magic,
Life is now safe in the forest, no more fearing the mountain.

Feelings Never Die
It is Valentine's Day again, and it bought back memories that were over fifty years old. It bought me back to 1971, and I woke up and I knew my baby was due today. I was big and pregnant, and I felt like I was about to burst wide open. Imagine my surprise when the doctor told my I had a due date of February 14. I couldn't believe it, and since my baby was due today, I felt I could indulge myself a bit. I had gained a lot of weight, and chocolate was on the no-no list, but I had came to the end of this pregnancy, and I hoped it would be okay, after all I would deliver this baby today. So I walked across the street to the grocery story, and bought myself, a peppermint patty, covered in chocolate, my favorite. Me and my Valentine's baby would enjoy it together.
