The lazy soul.

Make hay while the sun shine.

The lazy soul, a creature of ease,

Lives life in slow motion, with minimal breeze.

Their days are filled with lounging and rest,

Their nights with dreams of nothing, and a mind at best.

Their motivation is minimal, their drive is low,

They'd rather watch the world go by, than take a step to grow.

Their potential is wasted, their talents unseen,

As they succumb to sloth, and let life pass them by, like a dream.

Their excuses are many, their justifications grand,

But the truth is simple, they're just too lazy to take a stand.

They let life happen to them, rather than making it happen themselves,

And so they stay stuck, in a rut of their own making, with no one to blame but themselves.

But still, there's hope for the lazy soul,

A chance to break free, and reach their goals.

For with a spark of determination, and a push to begin,

They can rise from their slumber, and let their true self shine within.
