when the sun and moon are aligned, and it looks like the moon can’t take the sun’s blazing rays,
the moon is loved no matter what phase she unfolds.

During the waxing phase, halfway between a new moon and full moon, the moon gradually unfolds,
a sign of action, decisions, and commitment, its eminence on display,
a reminder that no matter the phase, you are still whole.

The full moon's brilliance, a sight to behold,
its light illuminating the night in a mystical haze, a culmination of efforts on full display,
the moon is loved no matter what phase she unfolds.

The opposite of the waxing phase, when she begins to retreat,
a time of reflection, reassessment, and forgiveness, the waxing phase,
a reminder that no matter the phase, you are still whole.

After the Storm
After the storm of winter snow there sat a small bear by the name Ted, of course. He loves the snow and likes to roll around in it making all sorts of trails and whatever he has a mind to do. He wondered where all the people are, but in a way, he is hoping that they are all snug in the homes maybe drinking hot chocolate-one of his favorite drinks with mini-marshmallows and eating something homemade for he likes this winter wonderland all to himself to romp and play and maybe even catch some fish down by the river.
