Presented with a flourish
The exquisite, exotic flowers
Blushed pink delicate veined and
Cheetah-spotted throats
Hung on tender stems
Tilted to the light, bathed in beauty
Flushed with expectation
A young girl on the cusp of womanhood
Dancing in the moonlit-bathed arena
Of life so promising and full of love
Catches her breath as he takes her
Tenderly into his arms, melting her
Against him, a snapshot of their future
Enshrined in their hearts forever
Foal-like limbs strengthen and mature
Her boyish figure blossoms into full bloom
Sensual, full-lipped, round-breasted
Aches of lust and love, she ripens
Beneath the cherry-rich pickings of
The fruits of her loins, expectant and
Hungry for the touch of his skin on hers
Rheumy-eyed and arthritic hands move
Slowly to the swaying rhythm of time
As the orchid plant is gently lifted so, so
Carefully, not to break the tender stems
Which hang full of exquisite, exotic blooms
Their faces tilted to the sun, bathed in beauty
Their serenity causing her to smile sweetly
