The Pendulum
Givers and Takers

As the pendulum swings through our cycles of life
We consider the life that we live
How comforting though our contentment in strife
If we’re taking far less than we give
We try to recall when the pendulum swung
Since before very long, we’ll retire
We’ll arrive at that age when we never were young
And not long after that, we’ll expire
About the Creator

Love how you made time feel both swift and sacred. That last line? Quietly powerful!
