The silent cry that's not visible
The tears are quickly whipped away before someone sees
It physically hurt
The hands starts to tingle
The silent scream
That happens during the day and night
When stress and worry turn into depression
Praying and praying to God for help
Searching for answers and peace
Asking for strength and endurance
Seeking rest from exhaustion
That cry
That deep cry
No one hears
No one sees

A Love Forboding
The chipped stone slope caused unbearable footing. I slid, skirting on my heels. I cast my shield, relinquishing my guard to stay upright. Left with my double-edge and a prayer to the maker, I skated toward my objective. The earthly stubble gave way to solid ground. I found myself restored, a trail of dust in my wake.
