The Sonet Of All Hallows Eve

By: Jason Morton

By Jason Ray Morton Published 4 years ago 1 min read

Horrors abound in the middle of the night,

creepy sights, creepy sounds, and the winds howled.

Freddy, then Jason, then Michaels awful sight,

leaving short-legged Chucky with Leatherface and his unhappy scowl.

Stuck in the mansion, with Jack and the twins,

the doctor's evil laugh echoing, enjoying his meal.

Annabelle and Chucky dancing, watched by the man with pins,

trust me, my children, they're better busy, not trying to make you squeal.

Creepy clowns come without a circus in town,

while at the dance Carrie stares into the crowd.

Jigsaw lurks in the shadows hiding his forever frown,

and the noise of the Predator is forever so loud.

The come one they come all to the Monsters Ball,

for a queen and a king, to run amuck this Halloween!
