The Symphony of Seekers
Finding Treasures in the Present
In the labyrinth of existence, we roam,
Seeking solace in the places we call home.
Through winding streets and memories, we trace,
A tapestry of life, our hearts embrace.
~
The seeking now is not of distant lands,
But of the moments held in loving hands.
In the laughter of a child at play,
In the sunrise of a brand-new day.
~
We seek the beauty in the simple things,
In the joy that a gentle melody brings.
For life's rich treasures aren't always found afar,
But in the twinkle of a single star.
~
In the tender touch of a loved one's hand,
In the grains of sand upon the ocean's strand,
We find the meaning of our journey here,
In the closeness of what we hold dear.
~
Though the world may spin and change its course,
Our seeking takes a different, gentle force.
No longer driven by a distant goal,
But savoring each moment as a whole.
~
The seeking's not about what lies ahead,
But the love and kindness in the life we spread.
In the warmth of friendships, old and new,
In the simple joys, we find our cue.
~
So let us seek the treasures close at hand,
In the beauty of the world, where we now stand.
For in the present, our hearts are free,
To savor life's sweet symphony.

Like it says above my name is Kailee, though many of my friends call me Kit because I tend to draw foxes a lot in my spare time whenever I'm not writing up a storm. I love writing as you can no doubt tell from how I've been posting.
