For the Moment of Silence Challenge

Shut windows when voices next door get too loud.
Ignore homeless who shiver or ask for a buck.
Look past teasing others to make someone proud.
Expect that it’s virtue protecting, not luck.
Never give aid to those hopeless or stuck.
Concern yourself not with their needs (just with mine).
Everyone’s selfish. You’re doing just fine.

Very powerful and convicting punch in this! Great use of rhyme and strong challenge entry!
Beautifully written! I love that ending! What a commentary...
Yep! That dies it!!!
Hard hitting and meaningful depiction of that important adage. This is done so well.
