I will never look at stars

the same way again.

They told the story of Christ

from conception to resurrection

and almost no- one noticed

the Magi astronomers did

and David

he knew that they

had language

I pour my heart out to the moon

and stars all the time

they know my secrets

that very few know

because I know it's safe

God already knows my heart

He's the one who puts things in it

I've always talked to the stars

like I know they are listening

and maybe they are

after all.
