Some words in my head are better unsaid
than voiced for the world to hear
some thoughts churn around but never find sound
and โtis for the better, I fear

Many words wander in the thoughts that I ponder
but never my lips shall they meet
instead I withdraw behind saturnine walls
to a world of silent retreat

In corners of my mind where my deepest thoughts grind
are words that are best left unspoken
than pursed through the frown of this gossamer clown
and risk that my heart may be broken
๐ถ
I serve out my time, a lost lonely mime
adrift in a world of anguish
shackled and quelled by my taciturn jail
with only this unspoken language
