You walk by

and your aroma lingers

Like sandalwood and soft white musk

Igniting a lingering daydream

A wedding in a summer gardenia garden

A champagne toast

amongst luminous smiles and laughter

Whipped vanilla

on a three-tier wedding cake

A warm embrace

and my red lips pressed against yours

What a thought

You could be my life long love

What a fantasy

turned poetry

Written by a poetess

about you

My secret crush
