What Can I Do For You?

We live in a fort

with a spot or a room

To make love in,

cook in,

and look at the moon.

A place for the kids

to run wild

and be loud,

A nice spot to hang up our coats

and slow down.

With grass in the yard

where the pets play outside.

The days fill with love,

arm in arm,

and we fly

To new lands,

then back home,

Every chance that we get.

I thank God,

or what have you,

for that day we met.
