When I Meet the Gods I Will Scream; For I Have A Lot to Say
Revised

When I meet the Gods I will scream, for I have a lot to say.
Of all the things you made life with, you make us out of clay?
I have to ask;
Do you sleep when families cry?
While you sit there watching children die?
Do you weep when you lose?
Do you cheer when you win?
Placing unsecured bets on fallen hero’s and emerging villains?
Can you see who is the innocent and who is not?
Whether to be saved or whether to rot?
Or do they not exist for you are neither nor neither.
Grey characters with many names, changing faces and driven divisors.
How could you sleep?
Have you abandoned us out of fear of your own creation?
To make it our problem instead of your own; torn between hell or heaven?
Label it freedom under the guise of control.
Why must you rob the young of youth and time of the old?
I wouldn't sleep.
You force us to wake, to break, to spilt between the realms.
Why create us in the first place if you knew we would destroy ourselves?
Are we nothing but your little dolls with painted faces?
Glazed eyes, rosy checks and silky strings for braces.
Oh, how grand the illusion is, so vast it escapes our perception.
Or is it supposed to be that way because it is beyond comprehension?
I cannot trust what cannot be trusted.
To have our lives in hands that have rusted.
That sit, watch and do absolutely nothing,
While the world around them carries on crumbling.
How long will this nightmare last?
As screams fall upon deaf ears from those with unwanted tears.
When will these days be something of the past?
There is no more I wish to say, need not pray, you won't be listening, anyway.
