amber leaves whisper,
caught between earth and grey sky—
as summer dissolves.

Wow! Nice flow and great imagery!!!
I love the sense of quiet, stillness conveyed by this! made me gasp and smile! another great entry!
I also like the summer dissolving, but I love the imagery that is evoked by "amber." Amber traffic lights demand slowing before a stop. Ancient insects are often found frozen in time, encased in amber. To me, autumn has always meant nature slowing down before the long pause of winter.
Powerful imagery and nicely done
Ooh "summer dissolves" that's an awesome line!
Oh wow, as summer dissolves, I especially loved that!
Gorgeous!
it is worth reading!
Beautiful images
Exactly, a taste of autumn and winter soon coming.
So peaceful ❤️
