inky eye
in that expanse of sky
I saw you looking
as we danced
I liked it
blue blue dream
in the hem of my coat
grateful for a friend
a throat to laugh with
watched us wiggle
under storm clouds
so tiny in our human
bodies
a mess of mortal
sounds spastic move-
ment of limb
and little earth
you laughed so hard
you cried rain.
