You believe you found the catch,
easy to say as someone who trapped them in a fantasy.
Love bombing, kind words, and a pocket full of flaunted cash
I love yous are bought.
Living life as though you are boundless, like a fairytale,
but when the world falls apart, you scream why me
and dump your bucket of tears to someone who has been a victim of you.
Your love is a trap
set for those poor, unfortunate souls who have fallen apart
play your part to perfection to build that soul up as a trophy
then move on to someone more desperate.
A child's repertoire is warned of people like you,
but the forgetting begins and your hunger increases,
until someone reverses the script
and you find yourself on the other end of the trap
then you will know pain
is love from you.
