4 Key Storylines From All In Texas
There are many questions to be answered amid the fallout of All In Texas

AEW delivered a spectacular, star-studded PPV with All In Texas.
Hangman Page dethroned Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship, while Women’s Champion Toni Storm ended Mercedes Mone undefeated streak.
There’s be denying that All In Texas was an amazing PPV, probably the best of the year.
As AEW preps for their next PPVs, Forbidden Door and All Out, here’s 4 major storylines fans should keep an eye on.
Who Will Be Hangman’s First Challenger?
Hangman Page completed his redemption arc by defeating Moxley to become the new AEW World Champion. As Hangman begins his second title reign, he’s going to have plenty of people lining up to challenge him. So who will be his first opponent?
MJF won the Men’s Casino Gauntlet to earn a championship opportunity. He’s been anxious to get back into the title picture and he has thanks to his association with The Hurt Syndicate. Could MJF cash in his opportunity soon and reignite his feud with Hangman?
Or perhaps Darby Allin becomes Hangman’s next contender. Allin lost out on a title shot thanks to Moxley. After a six-month absence, Allin returned at All In to help Hangman win. Maybe Hangman returns the favor by offering Allin the championship shot he lost.
Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland are other possible challengers. The two have become Hangman’s allies in his championship quest. Now that Ospreay and Strickland are EVPs after defeating The Young Bucks, they could use their new power to insert themselves into the title picture.
Will Adam Copeland and Christian Cage Become AEW Next Tag Champions?
Christian Cage has been one of AEW’s best heels, but in a surprising swerve, he became a babyface at All In. Tensions had been brewing between him and his prodigy Nick Wayne for a while. Everyone thought Nick would be the one turning babyface, but he showed his true heel side in Texas. After losing the three-way tag match, Nick, Mother Wayne, and Kip Sabian viciously attacked Christian. However, Christian’s former pal and tag team partner Adam Copeland made the save.
With Copeland and Christian back together, it’s going to give the tag team division a big boost. Their first feud will be with Christian’s former faction The Patriarchy, but afterwards they’ll have their eyes set on the gold. Copeland and Christian vs. The Hurt Syndicate is a dream match that would get fans buzzing.
Who Will Athena Challenge?
ROH Women’s Champion Athena has made the move to the AEW roster with her win in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match. Now that Athena has a championship shot, the question is who will she challenge?
Many would assume she’d go after Toni Storm and the AEW Women’s World Championship. However, some fans believe she might challenge for Mercedes Mone’s TBS Championship. Athena vs. Mone for the TBS title was one of the rumored matches for All In before it was switched to Mone vs. Storm.
No matter who Athena chooses, she and her opponent will undoubtedly put on a banger of a match. And Athena might leave with a new championship.
What’s Next For The Death Riders?
The Death Riders have presented a united front as they caused destruction and helped Mox retain the championship. But now that Mox has lost the title, the big question is where do he and the Death Riders go from here?
Will the group continue running rampant throughout AEW? Or could there be a shift in power?
Mox’s loss could set up the Death Riders turning their back on him. Although Mox has been a great heel, he makes a greater babyface. Having Claudio leading the charge against the attack on Mox would give the group more heel heat and set up Mox’s babyface return.
Mox taking down the group he created would make for a compelling storyline, especially if he gets help from an old friend.
