A Big Thank You To The Vocal Tech Team

Introduction

A couple of weeks back, I was unable to post on my main account, which is here:

So I reactivated this free account to keep writing while I got a response from Vocal. I wasn't so sure, so I asked people to read my story to get onto the Leaderboard to get noticed, because I felt I wasn't being heard.

Though I was paying for my account, I couldn't enter challenges,, or get paid for new stories on the account.

The Vocal got back to me:

Once Again, Vocal Got It Right

I know I am critical of Vocal at times, but I am very positive about them most of the time. Here are a couple of good Vocal enhancements that I have pointed out:

At first, the Vocal Team couldn't find anything amiss. I suggested that it was as though I couldn't write to the vocal server. The Vocal Team asked if they could use my account by changing the password, which I agreed to.

When they tried to create as me, they got the same error. Further investigation showed there was a three thousand story limit per user, and that includes "unpublished" stories (either self-deleted or deleted under the old system). Vocal deleted some unpublished stories so I would have spare capacity.

They did it, my reads for the stories disappeared, as did the money for them, resulting in me owing Vocal 24c 🤣😹.

I still couldn't publish, so they rushed through a system update removing the limit, and now I can publish on my main account.

So this is a huge thank you to Vocal.
