As some of you may know, I have recently created and launched a brand-spanking new website called The Opus Connection. The idea is to publish my writing on my very own self-publishing platform.
The idea is to promote my work to the general public without having to depend upon any other platform. It means that should anything untoward happen to other platforms that I write on, I have something to fall back on.
For example, should Medium, Vocal Media or Substack all fold, and my work were to sink without trace, I have a public archive of it all safely tucked away on my own website.
For the moment, anybody and everybody is free to pop in and enjoy as much reading as they like. At some point in the near future, I will be compelled to make a small charge to cover the cost of maintaining and hosting the site. However, it will be no more than the cost of a couple of coffees a month.
One more salient point to note, I have decided to feature a small handful of published writers to vary the fayre a little. It won't hurt to have a few people whose perspectives and styles differ from mine.
So pop in any time you like by clicking on the link below.
