Closure? It’s closed, sure!

Unsaid!

By KomalPublished about a year ago 2 min read

There were a lot of people who left my heart longing for something and people whose hearts were wounded by me. But why is there always one person who’s hard to get the other missing pieces of my puzzle?

Some days, when I’m just lying down on my bed with the window open. And the sunlight living in my room freely, I tend to ask myself.

"Why does this kind of thing just come in naturally? When your answers couldn’t."

I rise from my bed, get my sweater, and leave. As I walked to the park, an air of words passed. Those ladies and some gentlemen are probably missing something. Maybe they also tried to find it until they got tired.

But look how they just walk and sit as if none of the chapters of their lives are missing. As if no one hurt them.

Life is truly like a wheel. It just goes round and round. You wouldn’t be able to know what the first spin would be. If it is the spin of disappointment and hatred, the second one could be better and more glorious moments.

But one thing is for sure: you can stop it from spinning. If you can’t endure it, stop for a while and make a different spin.

When I was about to turn left, I saw you. I made a different spin, and this is what it looks like. You’re happy and seem better than before while I’m miserable.

You saw me looking at you.

"Hi, long time no see." It sounds cliché, but yes.

"Yes," I smiled awkwardly.

"You want to have some coffee with me?"

"For what?"

You looked away. "Closure?"

That is the word that I had been trying to find for so long. But today’s scenery—seeing you happy and better - is the answer. I don’t have to ask why and how.

"Silence can also be a sign of forgiveness."

"It’s closed." He looked at the coffee shop on the right side, and the signage was "closed."

"Sure?"

"Sure."

I wasn’t talking about the coffee shop.

Rich, Komal. This is rich. And Life truly is a wheel …of fortune and misfortune. I also like that silence also means forgiveness….and that coffeeshop ending was divine. Great one.

Sometimes silence can mean forgiveness. And, if you don't like the spin, change it. Lots of wisdom here.

Deep words from a heart that contains many of its secrets, the depth of its waters, and the many waves of it it is difficult to swim with it because its waves are variable and every wave has a story congratulation on your story

What a meaningful piece you've written there Komal, it evokes to think about life!👏🏼💜

This piece talks about the unspoken goodbye that seems to be understood by acceptance. The imagery of putting on a sweater to find out about the tangled threads conveys the drive of one's need for answers. The encounter with past love and the heart-acceptance of the ending is surreal! The closure of chapters like the closed coffee shop says it all 🙌 That's beautifully written <3
