My Reiki Story
Reiki is universal life force energy

Anne Bernays and Pamela Painter — What if? Writing Exercises for Fiction Writers prompts —
The Exercise —
Write one sentence for a story that is in its fourth or fifth draft. Then revise the story to heighten and illuminate this final meaning.
The Objective -
To make you aware of how you come to final meaning slowly, slowly, as you revise a story. To bring you through this process to what you intend the story to mean and what you want to convey to the reader. And finally, to make everything in the story accrue to this final meaning.
One of the beginning sentences in the Native Americans and Reiki workbook:
This is our Reiki story in this workbook, and my sister Carrie would be pleased to know I have written this, sharing our stories, and that I have included her artwork.
One of the final sentences in the Native Americans and Reiki workbook:
What a gift to be born Native American, and what a gift to have had Carrie as a sister and her influence in my life.
A bit about Reiki:
Reiki is healing energy. My sister and I created synergy.
It is helpful for birth and death. Easier time in labor and taking a last breath.
There are similar practices in Midewewin. And practices in some religion.
We were introduced to Reiki by the Japanese. It is something you can learn with ease.
I was told to reiki my eyes, it would help. This I found true, and I appreciate self-help.
For serious conditions, treat 4 days in a row. So many benefits since we began, though.
Without Reiki, it is really hard to know where we would be without it so. We thanked the Creator for Reiki - it was 30 years ago.

Author’s Note: The book I wrote was a workbook for teaching Reiki. It is not fiction; however, the assignment is to look at a 4th or 5th draft of something written. This workbook qualifies. I adapt it every time I print it. I find typos and ways to reword the information to make it an easier read.

Reiki has been such a hugeeeee part of your life and others. So wonderful!
I have a friend who does Reiki. I love it. Energy movement- one time I ate all over and could barely walk, and I went to see her and walked out of there after the treatment. She also uses sound and colors in her practice.
Thx 4 sharing! I've heard some good things about it. Does it help with pain?
I listen a lot to Reiki music while having a bubble bath for positive energy
What a beautiful story on reiki. Your grandson is so cute in the image.
