What Is Wrong With People Today?

Humans...

Our world today seems to have a very short-lived idea about what peace and living in safety & comfort, truly means to everyone here on this planet Earth.

Take for example, the Ukraine war, which began on February 24, 2022, and still today in 2025, the skirmishes are continuing even now.

Yet, with the atrocities that have taken place within Ukraine, countless buildings, livelihoods, and industries have been reduced to mere rubble - the economic infrastructure significantly damaged by Ukraine's aggressor without a single care.

Then, on January 7, 2025, the Los Angeles County area suffered major losses as a result of severe drought situations, fueled by the Santa Ana winds, with approximately forty-eight who perished as a result.

I have spoken with many people who have witnessed the L.A. fires themselves, those citizens that have been so adversely affected by the catastrophic effects, that the blazes have placed heavy on their hearts.

So, let me make something abundently clear, that many won't like to hear. How come people that are supposed to be in a position of power and trust, think it is right, humane even, to invade another area that does not belong to them, bomb industrial zones including hospitals

Then just as if we all begin to think life may be showing signs of perhaps a little positivity, with the L.A. fires damping down and currently under control, and the chance of peace talks between the Ukraine & Russia offering a glimmer of hope towards a lasting peace, what do you think happens?

A moment of tranquility maybe?

No.

Certain groups who choose to call themselves 'humans' not only begin to moan and complain about the issue of Elon Musk working alongside Trump in the American Government, but it isn't enough to simple moan or actually do something constructive about it, oh no, they take it upon themselves to become violent and destructive by destroying Tesla showrooms and worse still, many of Musk's vehicles at the same time... causing an unfathomable amount of economical loss to his company.

A company that has been supporting our world's climate, by utilizing electric battery power, rather than internal combustion engines that are continuing to pollute Earth's atmosphere.

Do any of these barbarians ever stop to think, "oh let's all stop doing what we are doing and consider the damages we are creating and making life worse for everybody?"

We are supposed to be a civilized race.

Yet, nobody is showing that the humanity is civilized, particularly when you look at this photo that was barbarically vandalized to the point of destructive acts by humans.

The Greco-Roman era believed that ‘to be human has always meant one thing… to be civilised… having good habits and fine taste and governing one’s life rationally.’

Really?

Because I seriously wonder about these abilities, particularly after reading some of the latest news reports across many television channels and newspapers, such as:

A Tesla dealership in southern France went up in flames during a suspected arson attack as backlash against Elon Musk’s EU ‘meddling’ and backing of Donald Trump intensifies across Europe.

The Tesla showroom in was set ablaze in the early hours of Monday, destroying 12 vehicles worth a staggering £550,000 in what authorities are treating as a deliberate attack.

Tesla vehicles, dealerships and charging stations have been vandalized, suffered arson attacks and faced protests since the company’s CEO Elon Musk began his work with the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, leading to mass layoffs of federal workers, authorities said.

The latest suspicious incident occurred overnight in Dedham, Massachusetts, where three Tesla vehicles were vandalized, according to the Dedham Police Department. Officials said “words had been spray-painted” on two Tesla Cyber-trucks, with all four tires of the trucks and a Tesla Model S being “reportedly damaged.”

Tesla cars were also damaged in Seattle on Sunday night, where crews had to extinguish a fire involving four electric vehicles, according to the Seattle Fire Department. Officials said other vehicles were moved away to prevent the spreading of the fire.

Vandalism targeting Tesla has increased in both Australia and New Zealand, mirroring protests in the US following Mr Musk throwing his support behind far-right parties in Europe.

I can discover far more damning evidence of blatant vandalism, which amounts to nothing more than barbaric attitudes, across our world today but, if I where to list all of them this would be an very long article!

Now today, in a world which should be concerned with becoming more environmentally-friendly to our planet, by reducing the use of fossil fuels which cause carbon pollution, are we really doing a great job by vandalising and destroying the very vehicles that are actively beneficial to the overall cause?

I don’t think so, do you?

For an active example, traditional combustion cars emit greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, contributing to global warming. They also release pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and particulate matter, deteriorating air quality and posing health risks. Additionally, oil extraction for these can lead to environmental degradation and water pollution.

Electric vehicles (EVs) present several environmental advantages over traditional fossil-fuel-powered vehicles, primarily by eliminating tailpipe emissions and operating more efficiently. They encompass a range of vehicle types, including battery electric vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, and fuel cell-powered vehicles. The widespread adoption of EVs could significantly reduce urban air pollution, which is largely attributed to vehicle emissions. The environmental benefits are most pronounced in regions where the electricity used to charge EVs comes from renewable sources, as opposed to fossil fuels.

It really is about time that the very people who are protesting, should start seriously look at their barbaric behaviours.

Once again, the ‘Greco-Roman idea of humanity is unthinkable without its opposite. Since to be human is to be civilised, those who behave inhumanly are the uncivilised or 'barbarians.'

Some people may not like me pointing this out but, even so, anybody with an ounce of sense and compassion within them, will understand why I have taken to writing this article, after hearing and seeing what can only be described as unsophisticated, uneducated, underdeveloped, and primordial barbarism, carried out by persons who call themselves humans.

To be human is to care for ourselves and for our fellow neighbor, to rationalise, respect, and among many other characteristics, support one other.

To be Human, is NOT to carry out senseless vandalism on properties, simply because (much like a young child who sulks when he or she can’t get his parents to buy him a packet of sweets from the local shop) they don’t like someone or don’t get their own way in life.

No.

That is not being human… that is being barbarian in nature

President Trump, via the news agency Reuters recently, stated that ‘… violence against Tesla is domestic terrorism,’ and for the first time I totally agree with him… because that’s precisely what it is too.

The Department of Homeland Security describes Domestic terrorism (DT) as being ‘generally defined by law as involving criminal acts dangerous to human life on U.S. soil that appear intended to coerce a civilian population or influence or affect the conduct of government.’

I’m not sorry to say that, on this occasion, he would be right in saying what he has. Whereas my opinions on the current POTUS are not positive after his first election win, the very fact that people are carrying out attacks upon Elon Musk and his development of the Tesla brand are completely out-of-order, simply as Musk has become part of Trump’s current US Government.

As I stated over on X, dated 11 Mar 2025:

If you have ever sat in one, or ever driven in one, then you will understand how these cars are indeed extremely climate-friendly to our world today.

So I ask you all, “why do people of our world today think that violence and destruction is ever the right answer when taking aggression out on a man, purely as a result of that man knowing and working with this President of the United States of America currently?”

If you don’t like someone then your choice is simple, don’t engage with them by trying your vile best to destroy them.

By taking this barbaric route when you don’t like someone or don’t agree with them, your violent actions are not only belittling yourself but, are making the whole reason why brave men and women fought both in WWI and WW2, to make a safer world for us all… sadly pointless.

Finally, what do these people think they are teaching the children of our world today?
