To Write A Novel Or A Screenplay
As I type this, the film and TV industry in America is currently paralyzed by the 2023 Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike. The industry of A-list actors and actresses strutting the red carpet at glamorous premiers clad in bizarre clothes in the name of fashion, has been gridlocked by a bunch of obscure scribes we never even know.

Whispers of Hope
In a quaint town nestled between rolling hills and blooming meadows, lived a young woman named Lily. Her delicate appearance and radiant smile masked the storms that raged within her heart. Lily battled an unyielding adversary – anxiety, a relentless force that threatened to drown her in a sea of fear and doubt.

The Art and Culture of our time
102 likes in 3 days The above is, as stated, a DaVinci-style syntax-driven AI prompt. I used multiple precise, or as precise as I could get them at that moment, word arrangements to create an anatomically accurate picture of a leaping dancer. This all began when I found out about a program called Gen AI. I have been hearing a lot of talk about emerging AI engines and their increasing intelligence, particularly their ability to turn well-crafted words and phrases into beautiful art (I should remind our reader that this is the same function as our own brains when it comes to encoding memories and recalling them. Do with that information as you will). This intrigued me, so I had to try it out.

Dashiell Hammett and Sam Spade: the Character is the Man
Life imitates art far more than art imitates Life. Oscar Wilde Write what you know, that is what all young writers are told to do; for Samuel Dashiell Hammett, he wrote what he lived. Knowing that Hammett lived the life of a detective brings a more poignant sense of realism to The Maltese Falcon. From 1915 to 1921 Hammett worked on and off as an operative for the Pinkerton detective agency, serving on the scandalous Fatty Arbuckle rape case and on the 1920-1921 Anaconda copper mine strike. Hammett's Pinkerton tenure (would) provide the material for much of his fiction. (2) From the way he lived his life to the places he chose to live, Hammett peppered his writings with the story of his own life. Spade is the first of a new breed of detectives: rough, street-wise, wise-talking, chain smoking, hard drinking men who use women to gain their own means to an end. Sam Spade is the mirror mental image of his creator. Sam Spade is Dashiell Hammett.
