Polka dot
I thought I was going to fall out the sky I thought I was going to hit the asphalt head on. The water washed over me, I thought I was going to drown, I thought I was suppose to die , I thought my life was over , but then I caught a glimpse of her in the sunset a polka dot. She had a smile on her face . she was like a speckle of black on a monarchs wing , glowing orange like a lattern she sparkled like a light inside a pumpkin in the dark, she was a dot on the map . Her name was polka dot she cooed she laughed she cried and smiled she was life’s gift she was a song a scent of rain a peak of sun beaming through a sparkle a dot on a frilly dress, she was beautiful she was pure she was innocent . She was a tear falling down my eye , she gave me a smile a wink, I blinked twice and she was gone she was a polka dot .
