I'm glad I waited until after high school to care.. Top Story - October 2024.
I would never call myself a fashionista, although if you asked my mom and siblings, they would say otherwise. I'm the one who quote on quote 'overdresses' for casual events and wears popular fashion brands. If it's possible, considering all the women in the house are different styles with some overlap in sizes, my closet and jewelry stash are the first raided.

The Morning After (I fall deeper with every thing you do.)
It isn't the blinding sun that jars me awake (you closed the curtains because you know I despise the sun before 8am), but the gentle symphony of your sweet nothings, whispers in my hair, and the morning bird (I swear it's singing Love Me For the Both of Us).

The Woman in the Cafe. Top Story - September 2024.
The bell jingles against the door as yet another person walks into the cramped cafe. Unlike some of the others coming in on their lunch break, she comes in with a genuine smile, brightening up the space and I'm sure the barista's day. Poor girl has had a line of sour people today.

The Flowers Died Today. Content Warning.
Part One The garden was beautiful that day - vivid, uplifting colors decorating the path to my parents' workshop. I always loved the intertwined scent of my mother's bouquets and my father's rustic furniture that would hit me even before I opened the doors.

Previously.... Content Warning.
Part One The man slams his bloodied fist into my face again. I chuckle despite the pain from my messed-up jaw shooting down my spine. This is nothing I haven't faced before; Rebecca, our creator, puts me through a lot. I take it all with a smile, just like I've been designed to, though it would be nice if we got into the rescue part of things. Honestly, this is a 'been there, done that' kind of scenario and I'm bored.
