Gelana’s phone rang through her car as she pulled out of her driveway to work. Glancing at the image in her caller Id, she quickly answered saying, “Keep the damn thing until later. I have to go in to work early today to help prepare our annual office Christmas Party.”

How Much Is Your Best Worth?
How much is your best worth? In Walmart two days ago, with a family member at the self-checkout. I had an issue and needed help. I glanced around looking for someone to assist me. The only person wearing a light blue vest which the employees wore, was a female a few feet away, on her phone. Calling out several times, she was so engulfed in her phone she couldn’t hear me. I had to go to her and she was startled and put the phone away and assisted me.

Tony Longhorne was invited to give a speech to the graduating class of 2024 by six different colleges. He researched all six to find the one where the students would benefit the most from his experience and route to success. Only one speaks to him. St. Marks College. A Catholic college that was immensely diverse.

His words sent pain to her heart she couldn’t understand. She stared into his eyes and saw her pain, in his eyes. Sighing heavily forcing her pain back where it came from, she stood up, “I am sorry, but your crime is unspeakable and without conscience. I can’t allow hatred to win twice.”
