8th of June, 1970: 'Self Portrait' by Bob Dylan Is Released
Recorded between the Spring seasons of 1969 and 1970, this is considered to be one of Bob Dylan's more confusing albums since he doesn't stick to form and does many covers of traditional or other people's songs. Many people intended this to be a very serious change for Dylan since he had changed his sounds and methods before with the "Electric Dylan Controversy," the "Judas" era, and then with the John Wesley Harding Semi-Acoustic era. However, be that as it mayโthis is what Bob Dylan had to say about it for himself, putting the album into perspective for everyone. Whether this is entirely true or not, we will probably never know; but for now, we've had to take his word for it.

8th of June, 1985: 'Empire Burlesque' by Bob Dylan Was Released
Since time began, I have been ridiculed, made fun of, laughed at and scorned for liking and constantly supporting the confusing and "interesting" album Empire Burlesque. It is a very complicated thing for me to explain since I havenโt really met anyone else who likes the albumโbut in this article, I will try to give you some background for why I love it.

30 Books to Read Before You Die (Pt. 2)
Hopefully, you've been following along with this series and have read Part 1 already. These lists are not about reading everything and anything but reading the best that literature has to offer. It's about exploring new and different genres, whilst also becoming more aware of different writers, different countries, and different literary movements.

30 Books to Read Before You Die
I love literature, as we all already know. But the one thing I love most of all is sharing my love for literature with everyone else by giving people recommendations and asking for recommendations from others. I like reading new and exciting things that I haven't read before as well as reading around and deeply into my favourite genres. At the time this article was written, I was going through a phase of reading biographies of classic Hollywood actors and actresses.

31st of May 1988: 'Down in the Groove' by Bob Dylan Was Released
Recorded between 1983 and 1987, Down in the Groove is an often forgotten Dylan album, purely because it isn't really like the other albums of the 1980s for him. It has its own character and that character is normally pushed to the background, as everyone is in awe about Empire Burlesque (whether that be positive awe or disgust, it doesn't matter). David Fricke of Rolling Stone Magazine gives some insight into the album for people who want to see the other side:

A Review: 'Dark' Season 1
Here's a bit of background. I had been putting off watching Dark for ages, because I didn't want to get tied down to another TV Show whilst Game of Thrones was still on (I love Game of Thrones). And even before GoT Season eight, I was putting off watching Dark, because it wasn't really that high of a match on Netflix. If you know me, you'll know that I'm all for watching foreign TV shows, because it's really interesting to see the storytelling involved. Now that I've watched Season one, I kind of regret putting it off for so long, because damn this show is addictive.

Top 5 Films About JFK
Now, everyone knows how much I love reading and watching things about the Kennedy brothers. This isn't just the conspiracy stuff, but also things about their life and their legacies, and what they achieved. On May 29, 1917โJFK, possibly the most famous Kennedy, was born.

May 27, 1963: 'The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan' Was Released
One of the most important albums ever recorded, The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan was released on May 27, 1963โonly three days after the bard's 22nd birthday. It is an important album, because of its amazing songwriting, and its incredible compositionโoh, yes, and it is the album that made Bob Dylan famous.

'Mahabharata' (Pt. 3)
The very first book depicts the society of the Vedic period in India. Called the Adi Parva it depicts the caste system and how class and society works in the Middle Vedic Era. If we were to take this as how the text depicts a historical era, we look at the fact that it is the middle of the Vedic era and that these castes have been established since the beginning of both sides of the war, especially the Puranas. The beginning of the Vedic era starts with the establishment of the Kuru Kingdom and, by the height of its political powerโit would be well established into the families mentioned within the text. Thus, it shows historical accuracy and can be placed within that particular time period.
