.just figuring things out.
I stand Feet sinking into cool sand Sticky salt air caressing my skin Billowing hair in a flurry of wind I stare Out into onyx dark night

The entrance lay bare to a new home As I say goodbye to an old tomb An unknown future wrapped in honey and chrome Something bright, shiny and new ready to bloom
Caught in a pocket of air Between two times, between two lives Not quite here and not quite there Floating and waiting to see which part of me survives
Sitting alone, but I am not lonely For I feel the soft kiss of the breeze on my skin I listen to the Earth’s song closely Waiting for nature’s symphony to begin
