Bio
So, to put it simply (and slightly cheesily) I'm fascinated with life. And, well, writing about films, TV shows, video games, music, travelling, philosophy and Formula 1 among other is a fun way to explore it.

Brilliance Within Clunkiness: 6 Times When The Dialogue In The Star Wars Prequels Was Actually Great
The fall of Anakin Skywalker and the Galactic Republic as depicted in the Star Wars prequels plays out like a true Shakespearean tragedy. Unfortunately, same can't quite be said about the dialogue within them. From the time when Anakin made his feelings about sand very clear to numerous other wooden lines, Lucas's dialogue stands as one of the key points of criticism many have towards these movies.

8 Cinematic Road Trips Worth Taking
When watching a movie, we go on a journey. Granted, it might just be a metaphorical one and only last an hour or two, but it's nevertheless a real and emotional experience. Now, it is perhaps for that reason why I've come to view road movies as something of an ideal film genre. Simply put, what better way to invite the viewer on that metaphorical journey than by putting the film's characters through an actual one? So, whether they aim to make us think or simply entertain, let's celebrate the simple brilliance of the road movie sub genre by taking a look at eight excellent cinematic road trips.

3 Factors That Make 'Digimon Adventure' A Triumph In Telling A Story With Multiple Leads
There are many ways to break down the lasting legacy of Digimon Adventure. One could bring up the show's surprisingly mature themes or ingenious world-building. Additionally, seeing some inventively designed monsters fight each other might just play a small part as well.

Spark In The Dark: A Look Into Darth Vader's Twisted Sense Of Humor
"Be careful not to choke on your aspirations, Director." Although it remains to be seen just how well Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is going to stand the test of time with in the Star Wars universe, it's fair to say that the Darth Vader hallway scene has found its place among the franchise's all-time most memorable moments. However, the same can't be said of Vader's earlier cinematic confrontation with Krennic and, more precisely, that quote above, as many fans initially felt it was a bit out of character and an unnecessary addition to an otherwise great scene.

Celebrating The 6 Most Lethal Ladies In The James Bond Franchise
The Bond franchise has had its fair share of critics regarding the way it has approached some of its female characters. Yet, as the years have passed, even the harshest ones will have to admit that, for a series revolving around (as Judi Dench's M once so elegantly put it) "a sexist misogynist dinosaur, Bond has certainly been paired up with a fair amount of more than capable female allies during his missions.

Why The Infamous 'Best Picture Fail' Was Actually A Great Moment For The Oscars
Safe to say that the most talked about Oscars 2017 moment — falsely announcing the winner of the year's biggest film award, and then having that mistakenly proclaimed winner find out about it mid-victory speech — will not go down as the proudest moment in the history of the Academy Awards. Rather obviously, it caused a major heartbreak for one group of people (the amazing cast and crew of La La Land) and partially spoiled a special moment for other (the equally amazing cast and crew of Moonlight).

It's Time To D-D-D Duel: 3 Factors That Made 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters' So Endearing
As a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh, I'm the first one to admit that, at first glance, the long-lasting appeal of the show might be hard to understand. I mean, here we have a kids anime that ran in the early 2000s, largely with a purpose to sell a trading card game. Yet, after all these years, it's getting a feature-length film (with the brilliant original cast returning). Furthermore, it's the source material for the highly popular Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Abridged Series — a brilliant and clever parody/homage, which often seems to be as beloved by the fans as the actual show itself.

The Story Must Walk On: 3 Crucial Challenges In Making a Great Sequel
A good story deserves to be continued. Or perhaps it deserves to be left alone. Whatever one's opinion on the matter, it's safe to say that in nowadays film industry, it will most likely be continued in form of a sequel. And, well, it's not such a bad thing, since we have gotten many worthy continuations of some beloved stories thanks to it. However, needless to say that it has also delivered a fair share of misguided attempts to cash in on a known property, highlighting just how full of perils a quest to make a worthy sequel can be.

Exploring The Video Game Movie Curse With 'Assassin's Creed'
In retrospect, one should have seen it coming. I mean, Assassin's Creed was a video game movie after all, and therefore, destined to fail (as it did not quite get the best response from critics, fans of the franchise or at the box office). Yet, with all the potential it boasted — from its talented cast and crew, to the rich source material of this truly awesome game franchise — many were genuinely hoping that this one was finally going to lift the curse of sub-par video game movies and offer something memorable.

A New Trope: These 3 Film Genres Would Thrive In The Star Wars Universe
The circle is now complete. When Star Wars began with A New Hope, it was a case of creating this fascinating universe to tell a timeless tale in a new and exciting fashion. Now, with RogueOne: A Star Wars Story, this ever-expanding universe has become the main source of inspiration for telling great stories. And that, in turn, puts into perspective just how huge and layered the galaxy far, far away has become.
