My Review of "Mickey 17"
Mickey 17 is a weird sci-fi movie that came out in 2025. Despite the oddity of the story, there's still a semblance of reality in there. They talk about a ton of interesting existential themes throughout the movie and had me thinking. Don't worry it's not one of those doom and gloom artsy films. There is a lot of positivity throughout this movie. That was originally my only hesitation from watching this movie.

My Review of "Rocky Balboa
Rocky Balboa came out back in 2006. At the time we didn't think there was going to be another Rocky movie because the last movie kind of ended the series pretty cleanly. I don't know why they thought this would be a great idea but it didn't turn out to be that bad. Like its predecessors, this movie doesn't really have a clean continuity with all of the previous movies. I find that really weird because movies that have sequels usually have some sort of continuity that they follow closely.

My Review of "American Ninja Warrior: Season 16
American Ninja Warrior: Season 16 has finished up. I am somewhat late for the show. It's too bad because the finals were really exciting this year. There's not a ton of new things for this year but what worked last year worked again this year.

My Review of "Life List"
Life List is a family drama that recently came out exclusively on Netflix. It's a tale of a person going through self discovery and grief at the same time. I wasn't sure what to make of this movie but the concept sounded quite interesting. I'm sure everyone at some point will lose someone in their life and this movie does a pretty good portrayal of losing someone close to them.

My Review of "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man: Season 1"
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man: Season 1 is streaming now exclusively on Disney Plus. This is an animated television show that some might groan at when hearing about it. There have been countless animated Spider-Man television shows and movies. How are they going to retell his origin story yet again? I didn't think they'd be able to pull it off yet here we are with another fun revision of his backstory.

My Review of "Scream"
Scream is a self aware horror movie that came out back in 1996. It was a pop culture phenomenon when it first came out and yet I never saw it. I remember the popularity and hype that was involved with this movie when it first came out. Yet I wasn't interested in watching it at all. Now almost 30 years later, I was able to finally give it a shot. Shockingly, I liked it. There's a lot of fun to be had with this movie.

My Review of "Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl"
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl is the latest iteration of the popular franchise. It's been so long since these two have been on an adventure together but it's understandable. The company has other popular properties and stop motion animation takes a long time to get done. I was actually surprised to see this one because it's been so long.

My Review of "MacGruber"
MacGruber is a comedy that came out back in 2010. I remember seeing this movie back in the day not thinking much of it but after watching the TV series, I was tempted to check it out again. The dumb humor made me crave for more. Why not go back to the source of that TV show?

My Review of "Opportunity Knocks"
Opportunity Knocks is a comedy that came out back in 1990. In some ways I don't know why they don't make movies like this anymore. There used to be a whole genre of street hustling movies back in the 90s but it seems to have disappeared. This is one of those movies.

My Review of "Novocaine"
Novocaine is an action comedy that came out in 2025. It's probably one of the most fun I've had in the theatres of this year. Going into this movie I didn't think much because it didn't seem like a huge blockbuster movie. Reflecting on the movie now, I'm really glad I got to check this out in the theater because the reactions really connect you with the audience and the movie.

My Review of "Paddington in Peru"
Paddington in Peru is the third movie of the Paddington series and it's still as sharp as the two previous movies. I had a few reservations about this movie when they announced it. It didn't seem as though this movie franchise would have legs to keep going. I've been proven wrong with the previous movie and this movie has proven me wrong again.

My Review of "Fierce Creatures"
Fierce Creatures is a comedy that came out in 1997. I vaguely remember this movie but was never interested in seeing it. Seeing it now, I kind of understand that my younger self would never have the intelligence nor the maturity to understand this movie. Today, I can appreciate the clever writing behind the movie.
