I live in Oxfordshire, England. I used to write a lot of fan fiction and mainly just write poetry now. I've been to over 20 countries and written many books. I'm currently working on a horror story called Heavenly Seas.

Samus Aran's Female Empowerment
Samus Aran is the original femme fatale of Nintendo. Often referred as the first playable female character in gaming, the intergalactic bounty hunter has been a character of great interest to me. I was first introduced to Samus as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee. I did not play the original Metroid game until many years later. So I always knew that Samus was female.

Stavanger
One of the first places we’ve stopped at on the Britannia cruise was Stavanger. It’s sometimes known as Norway’s oil city and is twinned with Houston and Aberdeen. It’s popularity has been constantly booming in population thanks for its oil economy. It’s a really pretty area and love looking at all the exterior designs of the houses. I like how the streets are colourful and they feel unique and homely. Especially all the reds, yellows, and whites.

Britannia Has Set Sail
Almost two hours ago, the Britannia ship departed from Southampton to take 3000 passengers around the delights and beauty of Norway. I am one of those people. I’m sitting on the deck chair on my balcony watching the land fade with the sunset. I see other ships from the distance but they look so tiny compared to Britannia. Maybe they’re the same size or even bigger but they are too far to tell.

Bayonetta's Female Empowerment
I've come across many articles and videos about feminism and video games mixed together, but they always seem to have a very bitter undertone to it. Instead, some of these great characters are being labelled as damsels in distress, fan service, or simple love interests, and I think that's a shame. There doesn't seem to be much about how female video game characters can empower and inspire women in real life. If there is, it's completely hidden.

How to Save Everyone in 'The Letter'
The Letter is a 2017 Indie visual novel by Yangyang Mobile. It's well-praised for its well written characters, horror elements, tragic true ending, and scary ghost that everybody calls Cuddles. It's one of my favourite games from 2017 and this can be a very challenging novel, especially if you're looking for a specific route or wanting to unlock all the nodes for the game. Sometimes people get so terrified that they're too scared to play again in fear of accidentally killing their favourite character off.

5 Lush Products You Can Get for Under a Five
Lush is a magnificent soaps and cosmetics store with handmade and ethically sourced products. It's hard not to find something you will love here. The place is friendly. It has so much colour it could rain unicorns and rainbows. Even though the products can be expensive, there are some products that are actually quite good value for money such as the shampoo bars and bubble bars which reduce the amount of plastic used which in the long run helps the environment. You only need a little bit of these at a time which also means saving your well-earned pounds whilst spoiling yourself as well.

Stratford-upon-Avon
Introduction Being the birthplace of one of the most famous playwrights of all time, Stratford-upon-Avon has become an extremely popular destination for tourists. I've visited the town many times, and whenever I've been there, it's always been very busy. I've seen a lot of tour groups traveling about, especially Chinese and American groups. The last time I was there, I saw some students taking pictures of the Shakespeare statues near the river Avon. The market town is famous for historic buildings, nice shopping areas, and scenic views that could take your fancy.

Rome
Rome has always had a high reputation and is often always mentioned in history classes. It was once known as Caput Mundi (capital of the world) but a lot of people know it as the capital city of Italy. It's been a favourite city for honeymoons, weekend getaways, and food. It's one of the most visited cities in the world. Some of the signature locations include: The Colosseum, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, Spanish Steps, Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, Piazza Della Repubblica, Trevi Fountain, Castel Sant'Angelo and The Vatican.

Leerdam
Leerdam One of my biggest regrets of going to The Netherlands two years ago is staying mainly within Amsterdam. So last year's trip to The Netherlands was very different. I got to explore more of the country and also got to peep out in Germany as well. I can say it was one of the best trips I ever had. One of the first cities I explored was Leerdam, located in the south of Holland. I remember changing trains from Utrecht and getting a direct bus from Utrecht to Leerdam.

Utrecht
Utrecht This is a gorgeous city resting in the middle of The Netherlands. It takes pride in its canals and boats. It's one of the biggest cities in The Netherlands and also one of the oldest. Like Amsterdam, it is very easy to rent a bike or hop on a boat. It also boasts a string of great bars, shops, and restaurants, and many of them rest upon the canals. Luckily, many of these places don't hold the hefty price tag of the country's capital city. I've been to the city twice. Once two years ago when I spent a whole day there and last year, but wasn't there for as long. It's one of my favourite cities in Europe because of its nice shops and lovely scenery.

My Experience in Japan
Ever since I was little, I always felt that Japan was my home. It was strange, I was born and bred in jolly old England. I always felt as if I was from another country. I liked my tea without milk and sugar and I preferred spontaneous meals and food as opposed to the traditional meals. I also loved green tea, Battle Royale, Sushi, Pokémon, Sailor Moon, and other iconic manga/anime like Naruto and Digimon. What did they all have in common? They all originate or at least are associated with Japan! When I studied Japan in Geography I became interested in the country even more. I loved the sound of the cherry blossom trees and trains that actually came on time. I thought that Japan would be a perfect place to visit too.
