On April 23, 2019, Chicago woman Clarisa Figueroa called 9-1-1, claiming she just delivered a baby boy and he was not breathing. Paramedics responded to the home, transported the baby to a local hospital, and released him to the 47-year-old.

In 2004 while high on crack cocaine, Rocky Ali Beamon and his girlfriend killed a woman. He was given a life sentence behind bars. While incarcerated, he killed two inmates -both sex offenders- and assured the judge felt it was his duty to rid the world of them -and would continue killing pedophiles unless he received the death penalty. Beamon would get his wish but took his own life before the state executed him.

No one knows exactly what happened in the apartment that night, but the outcome was truly horrific. Mildred Carlton left her 15-month-old daughter, Tynisha, in the care of her boyfriend, Walter Caldwell. When she returned home that evening, Caldwell was gone, and Tynisha was in bed. At first, it appeared as if Tynisha was sleeping, Then, Mildred noticed dark spots on her neck. When she tried to pick up her daughter, her body was stiff; Tynisha was dead. A Medical Examiner determined Tynisha had been beaten to death with such force that it split her heart in several places.

Laura Hobbs, 8, and Krystal Tobias, 9, went out to ride their bicycles on Mother's Day 2005. When the girls failed to return home, their families reported them missing. Despite searching through the night, police, nor volunteers, found the girls. Sadly, Jerry Hobbs found the girls' dead bodies the next day.

In 2013, 71-year-old Ralph Wald shot and killed a man he thought was raping his wife. It turned out she was having an affair with the man. The courts acquitted Wald of murder, citing that he acted in self-defense.

Inmate Beats Child Molester Cellmate to Death, Thought He Was Osama Bin Laden. Content Warning.
David Faustino Flores told authorities at the Tarrant County Jail that he was schizophrenic and needed a cell of his own. He told them he “can’t handle other people,” and hated the idea of being in a cell cell with another inmate. Officials didn’t heed the warning and placed him in a cell with another inmate. Within days, Flores killed the inmate. He bashed his cellmate’s head onto the floor, killing the convicted sex offender. He said God and his dead mother ordered the attack but denied knowing the man was a convicted sex offender when he killed him.

On May 26, 2012, the purple Chevrolet Caprice owned and driven by Rudy Eugene broke down on MacArthur Causeway near downtown in the Omni neighborhood as he headed into Miami Beach to celebrate Urban Beach Week. Eugene spent the next 30 minutes in and around the car, as captured on surveillance camera before he started walking down the freeway holding a bible in his hands. Eugene began stripping off his clothes as he walked down the three-mile road.
