Comeback Needs to Be Retired
"This is for the best, my reputation has never been worse..." Taylor Swift croons on her hit single "Delicate." This is not a true statement, much like Mickey Mouse, Swift seems immune to any kind of scandal or bad press. In fact, the entire Reputation album seems to be a way for her to convince people that she isn't the master manipulator behind these scandals, as she has been accused of, rather once again she is the victim. Even as she embraced the bad girl persona. And while the CD is not best selling in Swift's arsenal and had fewer hit singles than say her 1989 album, it did decent enough and the accompanying tour proved she is a superstar to be reckoned with. So then why are so many outlets calling her new single "ME!" a comeback? Mostly because that word is overused at this point and no one seems to know what it actually means anymore.

What 'BH90210' Should Look Like
Have you heard? Tori Spelling got an acting job! The Powers That Be are once again rebooting beloved 90s teen soap, Beverly Hills, 90210 as a mockumentary (think Curb Your Enthusiasm). The cast of the original series is reuniting (sans Luke Perry, RIP) after someone gets the bright idea to reboot OG 90210. Shannen Doherty was the last original cast member to sign on and is probably the most important one. Here's what should happen if the series is to be a success.

Not So Professional Picture
There are many things I am good at; writing, social media, and things that are best not discussed in this essay. However, there are some things that I lack enough knowledge about to call myself good or even adequate at. Playing games (DnD and apparently shooter video games are among my weakest) and photography. After taking a picture of the New York City skyline from a friend's apartment, many people encouraged me to try professional photography as a side hustle.

Why Republicans Should Love Mayor Pete
Pete Buttigieg is surging in the polls, recently beating such heavyweight names as Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Cory Booker, he also came within spitting distance of Senator Bernie Sanders. In fact, the only other candidate that Mayor Pete, as he is commonly called among his supporters, is former Vice President Joe Biden, but that might not be an issue should Biden bow out of the race before entering it. Such is Buttigieg's popularity that Republicans have already started the war machine against him in the hopes of giving Trump a boost before potentially facing him in the general election. And how are they attacking the potential 2020 candidate by using the very things they would support, and even rally around, one of their own candidates for.

"Dude, it's not gay if it's on camera. Then it's only porn," A man was overheard saying on the streets of Manhattan. For most cities, this would be one of the weirdest and most controversial statements said in public, but it's New York City, and all it did was give an opening for an essay on how some straight men will do mental gymnastics to get their dick sucked, even if it is by another male. Porn is just the latest in a long string of excuses that have been used to justify a straight guy enjoying relations with another man.

The Fun of Role Playing
When people want to "spice up" their relationship, one of the things they always seem to do is look for another person. Whether they want a threesome, or decide that having sex with partners other than the one they are committed to, another person seems to be the way they want to go. There is nothing wrong with that of course, but there are alternatives for those who want to get creative with their partner and maintain monogamy. The Case for Buttigieg
"To back up this assertion requires a lot of speculation, but it’s 2019, and speculation is our right. Let’s exercise it," T.A. Frank writes in his Vanity Fair article, "A Bit of Crazy Wouldn't Hurt." The difference being he was asserting his opinion that Bernie Sanders could challenge Trump and win the White House back for the Democrats. This assertion is along the same trajectory, but for a different candidate, Mayor Pete Buttigieg. As Mr. Frank said, let's start speculating.

Mayor Pete Is Democrat's New Hope
In 2016, Republicans had 17 candidates vying for the nomination to be president. For the 2020 election, democrats have at least that many with more expected to throw their hat in the ring. Most of these are bold-faced names like Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Cory Booker. There's also Beto O'Rourke who is being heralded as the next coming of Obama, which has to be insulting to the former president since he's still alive. Then there is mayor Pete Buttigieg, the first openly gay man to run for president and who might actually get to face-off against Donald Trump.

Most porn stars live a double life. They have an identity or name used for on-camera work, and another one for their 'real' life. For instance, Stormy Daniels is the porn star that is a thorn in Donald Trump's side, Stephanie Clifford is the real-life counterpart. Confusing? It should be. Porn stars want to retain a certain amount of anonymity. David Meza was no different, though he had more than one secret identity. He appeared in scenes for Sean Cody and Mormon Boyz as Mario Romo, Francisco, and Gonzalez. The secret identities didn't stop at having multiple stage names though, Meza was hiding secrets from nearly everyone in his life.

Feelings Trump Death
In the planning stages, this was going to be a satirical article about Donald Trump and how Senator John McCain hurt his feelings. Yet, during the course of research, it became evident that the premise of the article was real and true. In a press conference, Trump admitted that his continued attacks on the beloved, late senator are because McCain hurt his feelings and 'betrayed' him. It's like an article from The Onion has come to life and running the country or pretending to.
