Consequences - A Crime Story Based Off Of True Events
“Belladona Grey should be charged with the murder of her husband, Dashiell Parker as she had a false alibi. She was in fact, not at the bar at 11:00 PM, as the waitress at the bar, Kimberly Fawn claimed she’d seen her exit way earlier, at around half past 9 and she even has her video camera to prove it. The drive to the house is merely 25 minutes, giving her plenty of time to poison him and clean up her act. She’d cooked dinner for him, and that is why remnants of antifreeze were on his plate, even after she’d tried to cover up the murder scene. There was antifreeze hidden in her house, under the bed in the guests room. And she had a reason to kill him too. He has 789,450 dollars in his life insurance and she kept asking him about it so he became suspicious and records show that just earlier that day, at 6:43 PM he pulled out his life insurance towards her and gave it to their 14 year old daughter, Emery. Emery was said to have “written” a suspicious “suicide note” and kept it in her hands as she lay unconscious on her bed as she’d “overdosed”. But the mother “found” her and called the police just in time. But the toxins found in her body were not the pills on the nightstand her mom had claimed she was addicted to. It was antifreeze. And Emery, who remembers the incident vividly claims her mother and her had a drink before she passed out. She had been feeling nauseous so she went to lie down. The next thing she knew, she was in the ambulance and people thought she’d killed her father who she’d claimed in the letter was reportedly abusive to her mother. She denied this, and having any correlation with the scene at all. She even now suspected her mother had killed her father, isn’t that right Emery Parker-Grey?”

Why Harriet Tubman Deserves To Be On The Twenty Dollar Bill
Since 1928, Andrew Jackson’s face has been displayed on the 20 dollar bill. It’s no surprise however, for the only people who’ve been given the honor to be placed on paper money have been white men, the only citizens of the United States not considered minorities.

Women Of The World, You Are Heroes
In early society, women were simply pushed aside and not given the opportunity to go to school or even vote. At least, that’s what many people believe. But the fact of the matter is this wasn't early society. Those events weren’t that long ago. In the U.S., it took us a disgraceful one hundred and forty four years to really even acknowledge women as people, from the year the U.S. was formed in 1776 to the year women were able to vote in 1920. Not only has sexism been prevalent in the U.S. but the discrimination based on race, religion, and beliefs have been major problems as well. And because of these problems, our society has failed to accept many wonderful people for these meaningless reasons.

An Open Letter To My Parents
Dear parents, To start off, yes I know I’m completely pathetic as I couldn’t even find the courage to say this apology straight to either of your faces. It may be because I’m afraid no one will care about my apology. It may be that my ego is so big I cannot admit when I’m at the wrong. Maybe I’m simply just too ashamed to talk about it face to face.

A Letter For When You're Feeling Sad
Dear (your name), Sadly it happens. We all feel sad sometimes. But trust me, there will be brighter days. I hope everything clears up soon, and that whatever it is that is going on is solved. I also hope that you and your family are safe and healthy as well. I really, truly hope that everything works out. There will be good days and bad days and while we don't like the bad days (in fact some days are so bad we want to bang our head against a wall c:) that's what makes us cherish the good days even more. So hopefully after this storm you can relax in the sun for a while!!!

Why The Death Penalty Should Be Banned
The death penalty is a process by the law where an individual is killed for an offence punishable by the state through such means. The judicial order that an individual be given a death penalty leads to an execution in the actual enforcement. Many crime offenders are being executed all over the world by their own states for various offenses. Majority of people believe the saying, 'an eye for an eye', but what they don’t realize is that just because someone kills another, it doesn’t give anyone else the justice to take away someone’s life. People don't realize that they are putting the blood of another person on their hands and that their conscience will forever be stained with the life of the one they wanted to die. This, in the end, makes them just as guilty as the person who committed the crime. The only difference is that they didn't pull the trigger, instead they ordered someone else to do it. Because of this reason the death penalty should be abolished because it’s irreversible, there's no humane way to kill, and it violates the eighth amendment.

Ways Students Can Expand Their Leisure Time
A student’s life is often hectic for moving from class to class, absorbing new information, coursework, and preparing for examinations is a lot to handle. Because of this, leisure time is important to aid stress. Leisure time for a student should be treasured and used wisely. However, most students in today’s society spend their free time indulging in activities that are harmful to their well-being such as ingesting alcohol and drugs but that is not how it’s meant to be used. Leisure time instead should be used to decompress using meaningful but still relaxing activities. Leisure time should contribute to a student’s physical health, imaginativity, and relaxation, for they will contribute to a more wholesome, happy student.

My Life With The Liars - My Thoughts (SPOILER ALERT!)
I was watching a movie last night and I went to bed late, at 12 o'clock in the morning! I wasn't tired though...so since I finished my last book the previous night I wanted to look for something else on the bookshelf. I plucked a book called 'My Life With The Liars', reading the short description on the back briefly and began reading it in bed, unaware of the incredible storyline that would keep me awake for hours.

What It's Like Being Military Child To Me
Often military children have many advantages like being able to see the world. But there's also disadvantages, such as the stress of moving often for some, and having to make new friends. And for some, like me they don’t move much but their friends do, and since they don’t get a new start have to wait until someone new comes and “replaces” their old friend(s). Despite all this and so much more, all of the Military Brats I know are amazing at coping and I’m so proud of them. Some of them have many stories to tell me about their parents and I feel so honored that they’d tell me about those experiences. I’m very lucky as well because my grandfather was able to tell me of his stories in WWII and that my brother can now call me and inform me of his experience(s) in the Navy so far. This gives me another career option, and a very convenient one at that as I would go to college for free, have free housing, and get good pay. Then I’d get veterans preference to become a DoDEA teacher, as I’ve always wanted to become a teacher.

Should Students Be Required To Wear School Uniforms?
School uniforms are a contentious issue in many schools. Students and many parents disagree with the enforcement of school uniform policies. Arguments in favor of school uniforms are that they lower the rate of bullying and discrimination, save parents money, and promote school spirit. Others argue that uniforms take away the right of self-express, hide more prominent issues, stifle creativity, and cause students to feel punished or singled out (particularly those who happen to be girls or non-binary). On balance, the arguments against school uniforms outweigh those in favor. Accordingly, school uniforms should not be mandatory in schools.
