The book begins Feyre's new existence in Prythian is full with progression prospects despite her kidnapping. Tamlin, who owns part of Spring Court manor house, must live alongside the animals she hates and fears. Lucien, Alis, and Tamlin help her overcome her prejudice about fae and their harshness. Despite some fae being bad, she finds humans and fae similar.
