Lake of Flames
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night a candle burned in the window… Driving up the road in a green van, Kevin, Michael, Rita, Liz, Jade and Devon are all on a trip to Greenwood Lake for their yearly get together. They had all been taking this trip together since high school, but now that everyone is getting ready to graduate college it carries a much bigger significance. "I still don't understand why I have to be the one driving this old dump truck of ours on this long trek to light a freakin' candle" said Kevin in a sarcastic tone. "Because you drew the short stick" replied Devon, while lightly tapping him on the back of the head from behind his seat. "For nearly 8 years we've been taking this trip and now this looks like the last one we'll get to do for a while" said Rita sitting to the right of Devon. Everyone briefly sat quiet as Rita's words started to set in. "Guess this really is it" said Jade in a tearful tone. "Ms. Hardly ever talks just threw her two cents in, that's how you know this is serious" said Kevin playfully.

Marvel Cinematic Universe: Life after the Endgame.
It's been three years since Avengers: Endgame hit theaters and not only became the biggest Marvel film of all time, but the highest grossing film ever. It's not hard to understand why Endgame became the film ever, it's conception was over a decade in the making. Avengers: Endgame marked the end of the first generation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and though Marvel had great success with Spiderman: Far From Home just a mere month's time later, the impact of the eventual 2020 Pandemic would make it nearly 2 years before the MCU would grace the world with its net release.

Hip Hop: State of Emergency.
When I was a small boy in the late 90's and early 2000's, the murders of rappers Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. were some of the biggest shockwaves flowing heavy through entertainment and music culture, even in the years after they happened. It was a real taboo to see some of the biggest stars in the world lose their lives in the midst of a real life feud. Tupac and Biggie's deaths were definitely a taboo for the time period, basically equating to the level of urban legend status, but if you fast forward over 20 years later, murders like that of Tupac and Biggie have become an industrial norm for the world of Hip Hop and for that reason alone Hip Hop is in a dire state of emergency.

The Importance of Vacation.
On May 20th 2022 I went on the first vacation I have been on in I don’t know when. On the way home from this vacation I realized for the first time ever why taking vacations are so important as I was enjoying myself. What I came to understand is vacations are not really about getting away, but really just about finding a new way among what is already taking place.
