Really just an amateur trying my hand at this.
It was, as if, a wind had pushed me, guided me. But no wind stirred, no breeze guided. I was drawn. Unknowing, my steps were my own, without thought, but still coerced somehow.

I’m knee deep and waiting, waiting for the fear to abate. Daily I wade in to my knees, wanting to go deeper. But I’m tethered to the shore. The safety of the shore.
If, a word we’ve all become accustomed to. “If only” we all say. Coulda, shoulda, woulda, but. Didn’t. If........it rules large in my mind, gaining a life of it’s own. Fed by my many wishes.
Tumbling, spinning, runaway life. Even sitting still, it gains speed. Rushing past in blurred days. Never pausing, always forward, burning my days, despite attempts at slowing the pace.

I close my eyes and look to the sun. Soon they come, kaleidoscopes of perfect patterns only I can see. They seem like a dome overhead.
How perfect is our moon, it’s relationship to our home profound. It effects us in ways most don’t realize. Even the distance is perfect, causing a corona to appear during a Solar eclipse.
