When Stunted Hands, Earn A Place With Man - By Mere Monstrosity
The ground had become a cold, dark shell, sick and broken. A barren wasteland compared to the green lushness her ancestors spoke of. Tory, however had never known anything else, damp, dark and dying. She found herself somewhere between Heaven and hell, lost. Everyone she loved, passed, nothing but rotting flesh and memories Memories of her mother. Abandoned by the few who remained. Caretakers really, holding on to her for the few possessions she inherited. And they stripped her of everything, at least that is what they thought, and then left her for the hidden things. The rumors of the reunion of spirits, that once encouraged survival, had now become the angst of her existence. The only one concerned of her whereabouts, was a creature created to protect the secret she held the key to.

The Sweet, Tiny Pieces Of You
It's hard to describe the emotion, when that small box arrives at your door. It's not the first time a special delivery, has brought lovely things, like before. * But, this one today, stopped me in my tracks, I thought I'd moved past, just a little. It put me right back on the floor, to my knees, leaving my heart and soul, broken and brittle.

The Secret Of Life Is Enjoying The Passage Of Time
Staring at the hourglass, watching the sand escape and fall. There is a strange sense of acceptance, having no control at all. In the passage of the time or the changes that it brings. A willing, action-less participant, creates a pathway, just for me.

You've Got A Friend
The comfort in that voice you know, the one who’s always had your back. Pulling down that drive that leads you home. Two arms wrapped around you, when everything you knew was black. A phone call, so you didn’t feel alone. * The calmness in a sunset, security in a smile, The hand in yours, while walking side by side. A visit from someone you haven’t seen in quite awhile, a trustworthy friend you know you can confide. * The little things in life are so much bigger than you think, when the time comes and you wish you had them back. Mama's gentle laugh and daddy’s call to get you home, nothing in life comes close, compared with that. * Jumping in mud puddles , dancing in the rain, singing into a hair brush- while playing air guitar. Core memories in the making - watching shooting stars at night, Sunday drives, cruising the country in the car. * Christmas eve anticipation, Christmas morning childhood magic, in every day occurrences, it’s there. Gentle caresses on your face or a warm tender embrace, comforts given freely, from someone who cares. * Someone who loves you just for you, through their actions, not just words. We all have that special person, parent or a friend, That in any given moment drops it all to be with you giving comfort throughout your thick and thins.
