YOU'RE ALL MINE - ch 7
YOU’RE ALL MINE - ch 7 (the magic of Midnight) ^ ^ Mia carefully read Finola’s book on Ley lines and realized they were much more than the lines indicating longitude and latitude. If you knew where you were going, jumping a line was as easy as breathing. Jump on a wrong one, and, well? You could end up in Timbuktu or at a sudden stop that propelled you in a sprawling fall which resulted in you lying flat on your face. If Mia were truly serious about learning how to jump a line, she’d have to fiercely study Finola’s book and experiment, but not without heeding her great aunt’s warning: “until you have excelled at jumping a line, never go without me.”

YOU'RE ALL MINE - ch 5
YOU’RE ALL MINE - ch 5 (the magic of Midnight) ^ ^ As Mia took off with her friend Adrian in her arms and Midnight, in fear of flying, wrapped tightly around Mia’s neck, Mickey shouted to the others, “Please, everyone pack up. I need to get home. I’ll call you as soon as I can.” With that, he sprouted his wings (something he rarely did) and took off for Mia’s house.

YOU'RE ALL MINE - ch 4
YOU’RE ALL MINE - ch 4 (the magic of Midnight) ^ ^ Mia’s parents had gotten used to hearing her one-way conversation with Midnight. They fully understood that their daughter, in reality, heard spoken words from the feline, not just the meowing sounds they heard.

YOU'RE ALL MINE - ch 3
YOU’RE ALL MINE - ch 3 (the magic of Midnight) ^ ^ Mia loved high school. She made friends easily and found she had no problems learning the advanced courses. It wasn’t school where she had the problem. It was Midnight. At first, Midnight was not permitted inside the strict ‘no pets allowed’ school. Not being able to accompany Mia to her various classes had the feline extremely frustrated. Mia had her own frustration, not to mention embarrassment each day when she heard Midnight’s excruciatingly loud meowing outside the windows. She knew everyone else heard it, too.

YOU'RE ALL MINE
YOU’RE ALL MINE (the magic of Midnight) ^ ^ She felt the warm breath on her cheek. Then the nudge. When that didn’t work, she felt a not-so-gentle push on her shoulder to gain attention. Before she had the chance to respond to either, she heard the loud screech, which was directed too close to her ear.
