A Winter's Day
I remember walking in a winter wonderland growing up in a place much like the picture above. Looking for various kinds of trails from birds to rabbits and even following footsteps just to see where they lead. The bird and rabbit trails seemed to travel in circles till I would become dizzy for that is when I would spot footsteps that I knew were not my own for mine were small at that time. I would follow them to see where they would lead. Usually, they just ended up disappearing never knowing who owned them and where they were going.

Out of the Loop
Once again, I feel out of the loop. It has been 10 days and hardly any reads, comments or insights. I know there are ups and downs when writing on these platforms and that dreaded algorithm, but for some reason when I look on my stats how can I go from say getting as many as 50 or more reads to only maybe say over the past week only a total of 12 maybe a little more. I have been reading and commenting on a lot of my notifications of well over at times anywhere from 30 or more stories.

Dork Drabbles #17 & 18
On February 27 the question is "Which famous TV family is most like yours? How are you similar? This is a hard one for real families are not perfect and able to solve problems and issues in 30 minutes. If I had to pick one, it would be The Keaton's from 'Family Ties'. Why? Because they were a family that seemed perfect, but the show showed that they were not. They were a complete family for they were not separated, divorced or even close to being a single-parent home. The only similarity to my own is that my parents stayed together.

Dork Drabble #15 & 16
The question on February 18 is 'If you won a game show, what would you want your grand prize to be? I believe that most people would want cash or a new car, but I think I would like a menagerie of small items for my home from furniture to appliances or another choice of a grand prize would be a tiny house that seem to be all the rage for some for even now Amazon has tiny houses for sale. That's it a new tiny house as long as it has room for a small library. How about you?

Moving on to Thanksgiving
Tonight is All Hallow's Eve. Now it is the time to think about giving thanks and it all starts tomorrow with All Saints Day and saying thank you to all who have gone before. Thanksgiving is a day that brings families together and to show gratitude for what they have accomplished hopefully for the good. We all hope to be bountiful in what we do in our lives no matter what we choose. It's time to put away the scary and bring out the joy of harvest time and to help others in need and give thanks for surviving tonight.

The Graveyard
A place of peace also, of serenity maybe but just be wary of.... ********* Do you ever walk through a graveyard and wonder who, what, when, where and the why? Is it a place to remember those that we lost for are they really lost at all for the most part aren't they not in a better place. They or most of them of found their way home. As in the image those markers of lanterns may have led them home for, they have seen the light. For a graveyard is like a way station between two worlds or three.
